Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Triage and evaluate OB patients
• Manage labor patients and oversee recovery of vaginal and C-section deliveries
• Manage induction of labor with Cervidil, cytotec, and Pitocin
• Circulate for C-sections

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Minimum 1-year current acute care L&D RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Ability to circulate for C-sections
