Shift Length:12 hours
Shift Times:7:00 PM – 7:30 AMPrimary Responsibilities

Provide nursing care throughout the LDRP continuum: labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring using Obix with Phillips monitors.
Manage labor patients including vaginal, induction, and cesarean deliveries.
Deliver postpartum care and newborn couplet care following AWHONN staffing guidelines (1:1 labor, 1:3 couplet).
Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, RT, OB techs, and interdisciplinary teams.
Maintain proficiency with EPIC documentation for all patient encounters.
Respond to obstetric emergencies using established clinical protocols.
Support Level II nursery newborns, including CPAP troubleshooting with RT assistance.
Float within the hospital to assist with task-based duties as needed.
