Full labor and delivery experience
Postpartum experience
Epic experience preferred
Description:
Must have full labor and delivery experience as well as postpartum care experience.
Shift is 3x12 from 19:00 to 07:30.
Minimum of every other weekend or 8 shifts required.
Staffing must adhere to AWHONN staffing standards.
Floating within the scope of practice to meet facility needs is required.
Travelers with previous charge experience are preferred.
Patient population includes healthy to acutely ill childbearing women, including high-risk cases and their neonates.
The unit cares for conditions such as pregnancy loss, hypertensive disorders, and infections.
All areas must be covered, including labor and delivery, postpartum, well-baby, transitions, and antenatal.
Certifications in ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRPS are required.
Strong charting experience in Epic is preferred, but candidates without this may be considered if the position is difficult to fill.
Candidates must provide references from previous positions held within the last year.
Candidates will be expected to complete modules as part of their ongoing education requirements.
