Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,583 per week in Fountain Valley, CA

This role requires a night shift working 3x12 hour shifts. The nurse will work in a high-volume delivery room setting. Candidate must have experience managing low-risk obstetrical patients. It is essential to have expertise in external fetal heart monitoring. The nurse will be responsible for circulating C-sections and recovering patients post-operatively. Additional responsibilities include performing sterile vaginal exams and maintaining central lines. The RN will assist with high-risk deliveries and manage complications like pre-eclampsia. Experience with neonatal resuscitation and postpartum education for parents is required. The role entails participation in a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with various procedures from triage to labor management.
