Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,589 per week in Coos Bay, OR

Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in labor and delivery with current fetal heart monitoring License: Oregon nursing license (must be willing to obtain) Certifications: NRP, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - OBIX and EPIC experience (highly preferred) - EFM and STABLE certifications (highly preferred) Description: This position involves managing OB triage, outpatient testing, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and nursery care. Circulating or scrubbing in the OR is not part of this role. Utilization of OBIX for fetal surveillance and EPIC for electronic health records is required. The RN will apply the nursing process to the care of patients as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Teaching patients, significant others, and support persons is a key responsibility. Documentation of patient care must be maintained in the medical record. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential to effectively coordinate overall patient care.
