Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,599 per week in Saint Cloud, MN

Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience; experience in Antepartum and Triage preferred License: Active Minnesota RN license required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience - Experience in Antepartum and Triage preferred - BLS certification - FHM certification - NRP certification - AWHONN Advanced certification Description: We are seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to work night shifts. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Travelers must be more than 25 miles from the facility. Every third weekend is required. The patient ratio during the shift is typically 1:1. The unit is a level III OB unit that caters to high-risk obstetric patients. Common conditions include hypertension, diabetes, preeclampsia, and postpartum hemorrhage. Special procedures and equipment include nitrous oxide for pain relief and a high usage of epidurals. Flexibility to work holidays is required as needed by the facility. All travelers must complete required lab work and Livescan fingerprinting as per Minnesota state requirements. Documentation for vaccine exemptions is needed for those requesting it. Travelers should be prepared to manage a daily census of approximately 28 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes services such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. We value teamwork and excellence in providing care to our patients.
