Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,626 per week in Wyandotte, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7pm - 7am Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Cross-trained in postpartum and delivery - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit/department - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Patient to nurse ratio in labor is 1:2 or 1:1, and in postpartum is 1:3 or 1:4 couplets. Schedule is 7 pm to 7:30 am, every other weekend.
