Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,630 per week in Abington, PA

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Schedule: 13-week assignment with every 3rd weekend required (Friday/Saturday). No on-call requirements. No floating. One pre-approved time off period available. Holiday coverage required for at least 1 major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day).

Highlights

• High-volume regional transfer center averaging 12-15 deliveries daily and approximately 5,000 deliveries annually
• Patient ratio of 1:2 in a 21-bed Labor & Delivery unit with 8-bed triage, 3 operating rooms, and 3-bay PACU
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Level 3 NICU on-site serving as a high-risk obstetrical center
• Scrubs provided; modules completed during orientation
• Exposure to diverse procedures including cesarean sections, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclages, and D&E procedures

Requirements

• Active and valid Pennsylvania RN license or compact state license
• BSN degree required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience with previous travel experience
• Certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS (current and valid)
• AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ability to complete Pennsylvania fingerprinting and background clearance requirements
