Schedule: Acute care setting with interdisciplinary team collaboration
Highlights:
Collaborate with healthcare teams using evidence-based practice to deliver safe, optimal patient outcomes
Work with diverse age-specific populations including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
Direct support staff and promote continuity of care through effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and families
Utilize critical thinking skills with minimal supervision in an acute care environment
Current ACLS certification required or obtained per facility guidelines
BSN preferred with acute care nursing experience
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred
Current Iowa RN licensure in good standing with the Board of Nursing
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification (or obtained within three months of hire)
Current ACLS certification per facility education guidelines
Nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
Strong communication skills with ability to work effectively as a team member
Basic computer knowledge and technical competency
Demonstrated empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness toward patients and colleagues
