We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join a high-volume acute care setting. This role requires strong clinical expertise in managing both low- and high-risk labor patients, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide care across Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units
Assist with vaginal deliveries and high-risk labor cases
Circulate and recover C-sections and postpartum procedures (including D&C)
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring
Support care for patients with complex conditions (HTN, diabetes, multiple system disorders)
Provide newborn care and support baby-friendly practices
Conduct non-stress tests (NSTs) and assist in delivery setup
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Float to Mother/Baby unit as required
Monthly Deliveries: 210–240 births
Beds: 21 | Rooms: 22
Floating: Required (Mother/Baby; may float to nearby affiliated unit)
Weekend Requirement: Required (based on contract needs)
