Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: RN - Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required - Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required Must-Have: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to patients' health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes.
