Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery
  • Provide comprehensive care in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum settings
  • Administer and titrate medications such as Oxytocin, Insulin, and Epidurals
  • Perform fetal monitoring according to AWHONN guidelines
  • Circulate and recover patients during Cesarean Sections as needed
  • Collaborate with OB techs and house supervisors to ensure quality care
  • Maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery
  • Valid RN license
  • Basic and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in fetal monitoring and obstetric care
  • Familiarity with AWHONN guidelines
