**Job Description:**
- **Unit Information:**
- Location: Thousand Oaks, CA
- Floor: Labor & Delivery
- Number of Beds: 9 LDRs, 4 additional beds for triage and outpatient testing
- Total Staff: 43 (including Director/Manager, Clinical Nurse Coordinator, RNs, Ob Tech, Unit Assistant)
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
- **Equipment & Technology:**
- Hospital beds, GE Novii & wired fetal monitors, OR equipment
- EMR: CPN/Meditech
- **Typical Hiring Profile:**
- **Must-Have Skills:**
- Excellent Critical Thinking Skills
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certified
- Minimum 2 years of fetal monitoring experience
- C-Section Circulator and Post CS recovery expertise
- Proficiency in Vaginal Exams
- Experience in care of the laboring patient (CS and Vaginal delivery and recovery)
- Knowledge of high-risk antepartum patient care (Gestational Hypertension & Diabetes)
- Ability to respond to Obstetrical Emergencies (including Ob Hemorrhage)
- Care for the newborn within the first hour of life (Breastfeeding, initial latch)
- Strong customer service skills
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Scrub experience
- NCC certification in Ip-Ob or EFM

- Labor and Delivery Management
- Outpatient testing: NST, CST, BPP
- OB Triage, OBED, MSE
- Versions, Cervical Cerclage
- OP Injections
