Description:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse needed for a birthing pavilion.
We conduct approximately 1300 deliveries each year.
The facility includes 21 rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms.
We strive to follow staffing guidelines that ensure appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios.
Ratios include 1:1 for Pitocin and active labors/intermittent monitoring.
A 1:2 ratio is maintained for cervical ripening.
For high-risk medication, including Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drips, the ratio is 1:1.
Antepartum and Postpartum couplets are managed with a ratio of 1:3.
