Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse in Birthing Unit- Providing high-quality nursing care in the labor and delivery unit
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Assisting with childbirth and providing postpartum care
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
Requirements of the Registered Nurse in Birthing Unit- Active RN license
- 2 years of experience in labor and delivery with circulating experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications, and recent intermediate EFM required
