Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $2,934 per week in Renton, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 18 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Experience circulating in the OR Description: Unit will not accept any travelers with license hits dealing with diverting medications or endangerment. Candidates with such hits will result in immediate contract cancellation. Available start dates: 10/12/2026. The unit has 11 Labor & Delivery beds, 2 OR suites, and 4 triage beds. There are 25 postpartum beds with approximately 220 births per month. Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines, which is the goal. Common diagnoses include active labor, postpartum, gestational hypertension, and gestational diabetes mellitus. Registered Nurses are required to titrate drips. Common titratable drips include Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin. Both Charge Nurse and House Supervisor roles are included. There are 2 surgical techs available 24 hours a day, as well as 2 LPNs on days and 1 on nights. An OB/Neonatologist is in-house 24/7. Anesthesia is available in-house 24/7. There is no RT equipment such as vents, CPAP, or BiPAP. There are no telemetry technicians; RNs will read strips. The EFM System is Obix. Shifts are 12 hours long from 1900 to 0730. Weekend shifts are required. Holiday requirements are applicable. Floating to postpartum may be required as needed. Scrub color is navy blue. Jackets and scrubs will be provided by the facility for Labor & Delivery Nurses. Cancellation policy allows for cancellation of up to 3 shifts per month. The charting system used is EPIC. A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is not required. A trauma level of 3 is applicable. The care setting is acute.
