Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,010 per week in Lakeport, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state nursing license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Charting system experience required Description: Responsible for caring for labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum patients. Experience in circulating for cesarean sections is necessary. Must be able to provide care for mother and baby. Adherence to protocols for patient care is essential. The role involves managing high-risk antepartum patients. Knowledge of breast feeding support and infant identification is required. Experience with infant assessments, including newborn hypoglycemia and APGAR scoring, is necessary. Must demonstrate skills in labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Knowledge of medication administration and intravenous therapy is required. Ability to educate parents on discharge procedures and infant care. Experience required in managing postpartum complications such as hemorrhage and shock. Interdisciplinary support and cooperation with team members are essential for positive patient outcomes. Must comply with safety and infection control standards. Willingness to work every other weekend is required. No on-call duties are associated with this position. Floating to other units is not required. All candidates must provide a complete work history for verification. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory before the start of the position. Only one holiday request per contract is permissible.
