Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and current certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring. The nurse will be responsible for administering care to obstetrical patients. Duties include assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. The candidate should be skilled in starting and maintaining IVs and conducting sterile vaginal exams. Experience with the use of external fetal monitoring is required. The nurse will work night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks. Candidates must display proficiency in pain assessment and management, as well as the administration of medications such as Pitocin and magnesium sulfate therapy.
