Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN)- Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
- Educate patients and families in health promotion and disease management.
- Administer medications safely according to policy.
- Integrate nursing research and evidence into practice.
- Perform duties of Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator as assigned.
- Participate in professional development and educational initiatives.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN)- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)
- 6 months to 3 years of nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
