Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,094 per week in Torrance, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years in Labor and Delivery License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP Must-Have: - Ability to float between units - Precepting skills preferred - Flexibility in scheduling including weekends Description: This position offers an elevated seasonal rate. The seasonal rate will take effect on the specified date. Rates will return to standard amounts after the specified date. Canceling due to a rate change after signing will result in a designation of "Do Not Return." Must be flexible working weekends. Looking for a strong caregiver who can support the PM shift. First-time travelers are accepted. RTO must be included at the time of submission. This facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period. Candidates may need to float to other units when required. This facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 356 staffed beds. All colors of scrubs are acceptable. Charting system used is Epic. Ideal candidates will have the ability to float to mother-baby unit. Familiarity with newborn care and care at delivery is preferred. Baby-friendly experience is a plus. Candidates must have the ability to do non-stress tests and set up a delivery table. Internal monitoring device application experience is beneficial. Mandatory skills and experience must be upheld during candidate screening. Candidates will be expected to assist with cesarean sections, manage postpartum hemorrhage, and perform blood transfusions. References are required covering the last year of experience. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusing to float may result in contract termination. Communication devices may be supplied for the duties needed. Providers are responsible for submitting any work-related mobile phone bills if applicable.
