This is a high-acuity Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel nurse position at Elliot Hospital, part of the SolutionHealth system in Manchester, NH. The unit manages approximately 2,100 deliveries per year and serves as a Level III NICU facility, handling complex and high-risk obstetric cases.
The RN will provide comprehensive care to laboring patients, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, manage postpartum recovery, and occasionally float to Mother/Baby or Postpartum units. Candidates must be skilled in fetal monitoring, high-risk obstetric medication management (including magnesium sulfate, Pitocin, and antihypertensives), and newborn stabilization.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, team collaboration, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The position involves working night shifts (4x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with every other weekend rotation and occasional floating to related units under the Helping Hands/Team Nursing approach.
Epic experience is required, and travel experience is mandatory (no first-time travelers).
