Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,115 per week in Santa Monica, CA

If your traveler starts on 9/21 or 9/28, they will receive the standard rate until 10/4, at which point the posted seasonal rate will take effect. On 2/27, rates will return to standard amounts. Canceling due to a rate change after signature will result in a system DNR. The unit consists of 4 antepartum rooms and 9 labor/high-risk rooms with 3 triage areas. No on-call duty is required, but the nurse may float to postpartum if needed. Fetal heart monitoring and high-risk pregnancy monitoring are essential functions. The role includes assisting with C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Postpartum care may occur if there are not enough perinatal RNs available. The nurse may also perform couplet care for both patients and newborns. The facility handles 200-300 births per month. A travel nurse may be expected to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Winter seasonal rates apply with specified conditions. Cancellation due to rate changes may lead to deemed not required. RTO must be included at the time of submission.
