Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery
- Monitor and assess fetal health and progress during labor
- Work effectively as part of the birthing team to ensure safe outcomes
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to manage and support maternal-fetal health
- Document patient care accurately and promptly
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience with circulating experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications; recent EFM at least intermediate required
- Preferred certifications include Advanced Life Support for Obstetrics and Perinatal NCC Certifications
- Breastfeeding certification such as First Latch is advantageous
