Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,167 per week in Napa, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is preferred. - Experience with the Epic charting system is required. - Must be capable of floating to other areas as needed. Description: The registered nurse will provide care in the labor and delivery unit. The role includes assisting with both high-risk and vaginal deliveries. The nurse will support breastfeeding and provide discharge teaching to parents. Competence in performing sterile vaginal exams is necessary. The average daily census in this unit is around 10 patients. Staffing support includes interdisciplinary team members such as respiratory services and pharmacy. The position may require potential call based on patient census. The nurse will be expected to float to postpartum as needed. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The registered nurse must commit to working on three of the five major holidays each year. Traveler candidates are expected to float between facilities nearby if required. Further training and education will be provided to meet unit needs.
