Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,171 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years in high risk and high acuity environments is required. License: Must have an active compact license. Certifications: Required certifications include BLS and NRP. Preferred certifications include ACLS and AWHONN Advanced. Must-Have: Candidates must have experience circulating during deliveries. Candidates must provide newborn care including eye treatments and assessments. Candidates must have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume labor and delivery environment. Description: This position involves working in a high-risk and high-volume labor and delivery unit. The unit manages various patient diagnoses including midwifery clients and adult recovery services. The nurse will function as a "Baby Nurse" during deliveries and continue newborn care until transfer to postpartum. The average daily patient census is 15, with approximately 500-600 deliveries per month. Essential skills required include amnioinfusion, anticoagulation therapy, and management of postpartum hemorrhage. The role includes assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries and providing lactation support. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to work in a team-oriented, interdisciplinary environment. Flexibility to float to sister facilities may be required. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
