Commitment to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).

Permanent candidates from other facilities may be eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months.
The facility honors active compact licenses.
Responsibilities include attending all deliveries and high-risk deliveries.
The patient population includes labor and preterm labor.
There are 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms available.
Special procedures include blood and blood products administration, cardioversion, defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, and wound vac.
Administration of medications such as heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate is required.
The nurse will provide couplet care, low-risk antepartum care, and support in the transition nursery.
The staffing ratio is 1:1-3.
Nurses may have to float to postpartum and NICU based on skill level.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
The expected facility births per month range from 200-300.
