Experience in active management of laboring patients, induction/augmentation, and handling maternal emergencies.
Description:
This position involves nursing care in the Labor and Delivery specialty.
The registered nurse will be responsible for delivering care in a fast-paced environment.
The nurse will float between various units as required.
Weekend shifts will be necessary, and some weekend shifts will be required.
Expected patient ratios are Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3.
The nurse will provide care to patients of varying acuity levels.
This role includes the monitoring and assessment of patients during labor.
