Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,185 per week in Sacramento, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Must be able to float to Mother-Baby and be able to circulate C-sections. All RNs must be able to circulate C-sections. RNs are required to titrate drips. Description: High-risk unit with couplet care. Must be willing to do all aspects of care from start to finish. Must be comfortable circulating C-sections. Unit has 10 Labor and Delivery beds. There are 2 OR suites on the unit for C-sections. The unit has 3 antepartum testing areas used for overflow. There are 12 postpartum beds. Monthly birth rate is 140-165 births. Ratios followed are 1:3-4 for couplets and 1:1 to 1:2 for labor and delivery. 1:1-3 for antepartums. OB hospitalist is in-house 24/7. Neonatologist is on call 24/7 and rounds daily. Anesthesia services are available 24/7. Requires staff to read and interpret EKG strips in the PACU. Charting is performed in an electronic system. Scrubs are provided. Cancellation policy allows the facility to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
