Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,186 to $3,254 per week in Bronx, NY

North Central Bronx Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Labor & Delivery RN to join the 7A L&D unit. This is a travel/contract position intended to cover a leave of absence (FMLA/LOA). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to maternal and child populations in an acute setting.

Schedule Details

• Hours: 34.5 hours per week.
• Shift Length: 11.5 hours per day.
• Days per Week: 3 days.

Job Responsibilities

• Maternal Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.
• Assessment: Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, identifying and responding to high-risk complications.
• Intervention: Assist with conscious sedation and complex procedures as needed; perform IV starts and phlebotomy as a standard of care.
• Collaboration: Effectively communicate with the interdisciplinary team at North Central Bronx to ensure safe and quality outcomes for both mother and child.
