Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,240 per week in Issaquah, WA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Active compact license required Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Epic experience required Experience with the administration of blood and blood products Ability to assist with high-risk deliveries Experience with labor and delivery procedures Description: The role involves caring for patients in labor and addressing preterm labor issues. The unit has 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms. Responsibilities include circulating for OB-GYN procedures and assisting in post-operative and pre-operative care. The nurse will provide care in a low-risk antepartum and labor and delivery setting. Special procedures performed include blood and blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, and managing epidural pumps and PCA pumps. The nurse will be involved in couplet care, attending all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries. Experience with GYN surgeries and transition nursery care is required. The staffing ratio is between 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient needs. The candidate may be required to float to post-partum and NICU based on skill set.
