Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administer and monitor patient responses to medications.
- Guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel.
- Maintain relevant, accurate, and current patient records.
- Provide documentation of patient assessment, including physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
- Understand and demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse.
- Adhere to safety and body fluid policies and procedures.
- Represent the hospital while maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery - Travel- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred
- Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) required
- Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
- Fetal Monitor Course attendance every 2 years (Intermediate or Advanced)
- Current certification in American Academy of Pediatric Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP)
- Recent OB experience within 2 years required
- CPI (Crisis Prevention) preferred
