Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid Compact license required Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring required Must-Have: Experience in Labor and Delivery with facilities that handle 200+ deliveries preferred. Willingness to float to Postpartum as needed. Availability to work on weekends. Description: This position is for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The unit provides comprehensive maternity services and Level II NICU support. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and float to Postpartum as required. Certifications required include BCLS, ACLS, NRP, and either AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring. Call is not required for this position. The unit is known for high-risk perinatal care with a focus on individualized patient care. The staffing model aims to provide 1:1 support in labor, with a couplet ratio of 1:3 in postpartum care. The facility handles 200-300 deliveries per month. Candidates will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
