Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,405 per week in Seattle, WA

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, EFM Certification, NCC Must-Have: Charting experience in Epic. Charge experience preferred. Description: Position for a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Ratios are 1:1 for patient care. First-timers are accepted. Weekend shifts are required. Floating within the hospital is required. High-risk patients primarily serve this unit. The facility operates as a Level 3 Perinatal center. Approximately 150 births occur monthly. The unit has two operating rooms for C-Sections and related procedures. Team collaboration includes additional support from baby catchers. Special attention is given to extreme high-risk cases. Certification in advanced fetal monitoring is important. Administration of blood products and anticoagulation therapy are required. Experience with high-risk deliveries is necessary. Candidates should be comfortable with postpartum care and triage. Skills in labor management and neonatal assessment are critical. Responsibilities include circulating C-sections with proper documentation. Understanding of complex maternal conditions is essential. Candidates willing to learn more about high-risk obstetrics will be supported. Unit includes both acute and outpatient services. Continuous education and adherence to protocols is expected. Additional equipment includes labor beds and triage areas. This role demands excellent assessment and critical thinking skills. Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams is vital for patient outcomes.
