Job Title: Nurse Manager II Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Labor & Delivery (Critical Need) Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Experience: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience; Five or more years of recent experience preferred; 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience preferred License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support; Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience; Graduate of an accredited nursing program Description: The Nurse Manager II is responsible for overseeing the Labor and Delivery unit. Candidates must have one year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last three years. A graduate of an accredited nursing program is required. A Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided is necessary. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory. Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification is also required. A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred. Five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred. One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years is highly desirable. High-risk OB experience is preferred. Skills-based hiring will not be enabled for this position. Candidates should be prepared to meet the required qualifications for this critical nursing role.
