Description:
Schedule requirements include 3x12 or 4x12 shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
Every other weekend coverage is required.
A blocked scheduling option is available.
Candidates will be reviewed by clinical staffing to determine fit.
If the clinical review is passed, candidates will go to the manager for a final decision.
Minimum experience required is 2 years.
Call requirements include completing 3 twelve-hour shifts per 6 weeks.
Holidays will be required as needed.
Floating may be necessary as needed.
Candidates could care for COVID patients.
The facility is tobacco and fragrance-free.
Maximum RTO is 7 days.
Candidates will care for neonates and adults in a census averaging 8 patients.
The unit has a capacity of 14 beds.
Staffing includes interdisciplinary support from various services such as respiratory, social services, and pharmacy.
Patient ratios are 4:1.
Candidates must teach circumcision care to parents and assist with varied procedures including vaginal delivery and cesarean sections.
Candidates should be well-versed in administering medications and IV therapies.
The facility requires proficiency in documentation within the EPIC system.
Desired skills include assessment and management of labor and delivery patients, including postpartum care.
Candidates should have experience with newborn assessments and the use of external fetal monitoring.
