Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $3,997 per week in Riverside, CA

Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery required License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN EFM Must-Have: Candidates must have AWHONN Fetal Monitoring. Candidates must be able to provide couplet care if floated. Description: This is a Rapid Response position in a Labor and Delivery setting. The unit has 11 labor beds, 4 OB evaluation rooms, 2 OB PACU, and 2 operating rooms. The staff consists of 79 members with day and night shifts. The patient ratios are typically 1 RN to 2 patients and 1 RN to 1 patient in certain scenarios. The typical equipment includes GE fetal monitoring. The electronic medical record systems used are CPN and Meditech. Common procedures performed on the unit include non-stress tests, cervical exams, labor management, medication titration, and McRoberts maneuver. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple patients. Weekend shifts and on-call availability may be required based on unit needs.
