Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery - $4,029 per week in Riverside, CA

Description: Rapid Response position available in Labor and Delivery. Candidates must have required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN. No special scheduling or requests for time off will be accommodated. Candidates can extend for an additional 6 weeks at the same rate if fully credentialed. Unit Information: Labor and Delivery unit has 11 labor beds, 4 OB evaluation rooms, 2 OB PACU, and 2 operating rooms. There are 79 staff members in total. Day shift consists of 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff Nurses, and 2 OB Technicians. Night shift has 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff Nurses, and 2 OB Technicians. Patient ratios are 1 RN to 2 patients and 1 RN to 1 patient for certain cases. Type of equipment includes GE fetal monitoring and electronic medical records systems. Typical procedures performed in the unit include NST, cervical exams, managing labor, titrating medications, and McRoberts maneuver. The ideal candidate has a passion for organized chaos and managing multiple patients. Candidates must be prepared to float to postpartum couplets as needed. Dress code consists of hospital infant security scrubs. Weekends and on-call duties may be required to fill staffing needs.
