Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: New York, NY 10019
Start Date: August 31, 2026
Contract Length: 13+ Weeks 
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3×12s (34.5 Hours/Week)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Local Pay Rate: $75/hr on w2 (Without Benefits)

Pay Package Pay Rate on W2 (Hourly) Taxable $30.00 Pay Rate on W2 (Weekly) Taxable $1,035.00 Hours 34.50 Stipend Hourly (Non-Taxable) $55.00 Stipend Weekly (Non-Taxable) $1,897.50 Gross Hourly Pay  $85.00 Gross Weekly Pay $2,932.50

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor maternal and fetal status, and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR.
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based practices and patient safety standards.

Requirements

• Active New York RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• NRP Certification
• EPIC experience preferred
• 1 year of travel experience preferred (required for travel positions)
