Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using Epic electronic health records
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements every third weekend (Friday/Saturday nights)
- Meet holiday coverage requirements including at least one of the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and requirements
