Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting with a patient ratio of 1:2
- Monitor and assess maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Epic electronic health record system
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage, required every third weekend (Friday/Saturday)
- Fulfill at least one major holiday requirement from Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Active and valid RN state license required at time of submission
- Current NRP, ACLS, and BLS certifications required
- AWHONN Intermediate or Beginner certification required
- Proficiency with Epic charting system required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in Labor and Delivery settings
