Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | 2 of 3 Major Holidays Required (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including LDR rooms, OR suites, and PACU
- Manage and monitor patients in OB Triage, including third-trimester testing and triage influx
- Care for induction and high-risk antepartum patients with average daily census of up to 14 patients
- Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing requirements
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Participate in charge nurse responsibilities or train toward charge nurse role as directed
Required Qualifications- Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted for submission; license must be in hand prior to offer)
- Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Charge nurse experience or willingness to train in a charge nurse capacity
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Familiarity with high-risk OB and antepartum patient populations
