Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (12-Hour Nights)

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | No Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Labor and Delivery nursing care including cervical exams, antepartum monitoring, labor management, amnio infusions, epidural assistance, IV placement, and Pitocin administration
• Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings to support clinical decision-making
• Circulate C-sections and participate in baby catching/receiving and APGAR scoring
• Support post-partum care from transition through discharge for both mother and newborn, including breastfeeding education and support
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a unit that includes L&D, post-partum/antepartum, OB/ED, OR rooms, and a Level II NICU
• Occasionally assist with scrub duties during sick call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Fetal monitoring certification required
• Must be proficient in baby catching/receiving

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with all aspects of post-partum care including transition through discharge for mother and baby
• Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred
• Scrub experience is a plus
• Multilingual abilities, particularly Russian or Spanish, are preferred given the patient population served
