Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery in Auburn, WA

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / 12-Hour Nights

Contract (15 Weeks) | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Option for 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cervical exams, manage antepartum and active labor patients, and administer amnio infusions, epidurals, Pitocin, and IVs
• Provide continuous fetal monitoring and interpret findings throughout labor
• Circulate C-sections and perform baby catching/receiving (required)
• Conduct APGAR scoring and provide breastfeeding support and education
• Deliver post-partum care covering all aspects from transition through discharge for both mother and baby
• Occasionally assist with scrub duties during sick call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• BLS certification (required)
• NRP certification (required)
• Fetal monitoring certification (required)
• Demonstrated ability to circulate C-sections and perform baby catching/receiving

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR strongly preferred
• Comfort with all aspects of post-partum care from transition to discharge for mother and baby
• Scrub experience a plus (Scrub Tech is on-site; scrub-trained RNs may be utilized for sick call coverage)
• Multilingual skills, particularly Russian or Spanish, preferred given the patient population served
