Seasonal Contract RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift, 13 Weeks)

Contract | 13-Week Seasonal Assignment | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Labor and Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC procedures
- Utilize specialized equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members on day-to-day unit operations
- Adhere to unit attendance policies and dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs; no t-shirts)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) competency, including intermediate fetal monitoring
- Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) competency
- C-section circulation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor and Delivery unit
- Team-oriented, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
