Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 12-Week Assignment | On-Call Possible
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
- Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policy and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
Required Qualifications- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in high-acuity or fast-paced Labor & Delivery settings
- Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills in obstetrical care environments
