Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (LDRP)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care across all areas of a 15-bed LDRP unit, including antepartum, labor and delivery, OR circulating, scrub, newborn care at delivery, and couplet care
- Perform fetal heart monitoring triage and circulate in the operating room as needed
- Conduct lab draws and newborn infant hearing screens using the ALGO 5 machine
- Float within the facility as a sitter when census and staffing needs require, and float to an additional facility location when needed
- Work every other weekend and provide holiday coverage with flexibility to accommodate staffing demands
- Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications- Valid Michigan Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor and Delivery
- Current ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP certifications
- AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM certification
- Proficiency in OR circulating and FHM triage
- Proof of flu vaccination (or exemption request submitted within 48 hours of contract signing)
Preferred Experience / Skills- AWHONN Advanced certification
- Scrub nurse experience
