LDRP - Registered Nurse

Berwyn, IL
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every Third Weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP)
- Monitor and assess laboring patients, including fetal heart rate monitoring and interpretation
- Support and assist with deliveries, including management of complications as they arise
- Deliver postpartum and mother-baby care following delivery
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe outcomes for mothers and newborns
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an LDRP or combined labor, delivery, and mother-baby unit
- Familiarity with high-acuity obstetric and newborn care settings
