Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts with Some Day Shifts | Weekends Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients, including high-risk cases, throughout the delivery process
  • Deliver postpartum care for mother and baby couplets
  • Provide gynecological surgical post-operative care
  • Perform fetal monitoring using electronic fetal monitors and centralized monitoring systems
  • Utilize computerized charting systems for documentation of patient care
  • Float to the newborn nursery and NICU as needed to support staffing
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Experience in postpartum mother/baby care and gynecological care
  • Current BLS/CPR certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current NRP certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • STABLE certification
  • Experience with OBIX fetal monitoring documentation and EPIC electronic health records
  • Experience in newborn nursery or NICU settings
