Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients in a high-volume Maternal Infant Unit with a 1:1 labor patient ratio
- Assist with and support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum patient care
- Deliver newborn and postpartum care with patient ratios of 5–6:1
- Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and document accurately within Meditech and CPN EMR systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including OB techs, nursery nurses, and unit leadership
- Participate in a rotating weekend schedule (every third weekend) and fulfill 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting with high birth volumes
- Familiarity with Meditech and/or CPN electronic medical record systems
- Experience with GE fetal monitoring equipment
