Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care for laboring patients, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio during active labor
Assist with and support vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Deliver antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care within a Maternal Infant Unit setting
Operate GE fetal monitoring equipment and accurately document care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
Participate in a rotating weekend schedule (every third weekend) and fulfill 12 hours of on-call per 4-week schedule
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NRP certification
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
2+ years of Labor & Delivery experience in an LDRP setting
Experience working in a high birth volume environment
